There are several price tiers for smart speakers with Alexa built-in, from an Echo Pop starting at $40 up to a $449 Sonos Era 300 speaker. The Echo Dot is good enough for voice commands, timers, alarms, and casual listening, but a larger Echo device, like the Echo or Echo Studio, features better audio output.
