Riot Video games has revealed it has “made the powerful determination to eradicate some roles.”
In a press release posted to X/Twitter, Riot co-founder Marc Merrill assured League of Legends gamers the studio was “not slowing down work on the sport you’re keen on.”
“This isn’t about lowering headcount to save cash – it’s about ensuring now we have the precise experience in order that League continues to be nice for an additional 15 years and past,” Merrill’s assertion continues.
