The Hong Kong Authorities will give away 500,000 free air tickets in a bid to revive its vacationer business broken by strict COVID restrictions. The Hong Kong Tourism Board says the free tickets can be distributed subsequent 12 months to inbound and outbound travellers by town’s airport authority, which can finalise preparations with airways.

A spokesperson for Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) stated it was working with airways on the related preparations, “Again in 2020 AAHK bought round 500,000 air tickets upfront from Hong Kong’s home-based airways as a part of a reduction package deal to assist the aviation business. The tickets can be given away to international guests and Hong Kong residents out there restoration marketing campaign.”
