Today, $2.9 trillion annually flows into infrastructure, but often without factoring in physical climate risks. World Bank data indicates that infrastructure disruption, costs emerging and developing economies, at least $390 billion yearly.
On top of that, public and private financing is stretched, and Nature as Infrastructure is not yet often considered in this equation due to perceived cost, complexity and the challenges of measuring impact.
