Norway’s central bank joined Zoom, Shopify, LinkedIn and others in going offline before the issue was rectified.
The outage comes just three weeks after a bigger problem knocked out swathes of the internet, including ChatGPT and X for several hours.
Customers also reported issues with contactless payments at some retailers in the UK.
That outage comes just a month after Amazon Web Services and Microsoft’s Azure platform both experienced problems that left a host of sites – including banking services – offline.
